- DPHS Planning Workshop - January 2012
On Saturday 21st January 2012, the Board of DPHS Aberdeen, its staff, members, volunteers and advisers held a successful planning workshop to identify new opportunites for DPHS for the next three years at a time when housing needs for those with disability and mobility needs is on the increase. A new business plan will be drawn up that will include an analysis of the needs of thousands of folk in Aberdeen.
This will help the Board to ensure that it can work with housing providers to provide the best information, advice and advocacy to meet those needs. Policy sub-groups of the Board will give detailed consideration to all aspects of the business plan, including the sustainability of funding for the next three years.
- New Board of Directors (October 2011)
DPHS announced on the 17th October 2011, its new Board of Directors.
- Change of Address (July 2011)
The Disabled Persons Housing Service Aberdeen (DPHS) relocated to new offices and has moved out of 43 Raeden Court, Aberdeen. The new office, is still within Raeden Court. Click here for our contact details.
- New Volunteers Recruited
Two new volunteers recruited through VSA in April 2010 to assist with growing demand for the housing advice service.
